The Quran is the word of Allah — the most blessed book ever revealed. Reciting it is not merely reading; it is an act of worship that brings light to the heart, shade on the Day of Judgement, and an elevated status for those who make it a daily companion.
Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will receive a good deed, and a good deed is multiplied by ten. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.
This means a single verse of Surah Al-Fatiha carries hundreds of individual rewards. For someone who recites the entire Quran — 323,015 letters — the rewards are beyond human calculation.
Recite the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.
Recite, ascend, and recite carefully as you used to recite in the world.
Ahmad 6589 — Sahih
The Quran was revealed as guidance, mercy, and healing for the believers. Do not let a single day pass without spending time with the words of your Lord.
