Al-Muzzammil

The Enshrouded One · 20 Verses · Chapter 73

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلۡمُزَّمِّلُ

O THOU enwrapped one!

قُمِ ٱلَّیۡلَ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا

Keep awake [in prayer] at night, all but a small part

نِّصۡفَهُۥۤ أَوِ ٱنقُصۡ مِنۡهُ قَلِیلًا

of one-half thereof - or make it a little less than that,
