11 Verses · Juz 30 · Meccan · Surah #93
Surah Ad-Duha is the 93rd chapter of the Quran with 11 verses, revealed during a period when revelation temporarily paused and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was greatly distressed. Allah revealed this surah as a comfort, reassuring the Prophet ﷺ that He had not abandoned him and promising: "And your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied." It is a deeply comforting surah for all believers in difficulty.
"When this surah was revealed, the Prophet ﷺ said Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) with joy, as it brought divine comfort after a period of distress."
— Tafsir Ibn Kathir
""And your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied." — A direct divine promise of sufficiency."
— Quran 93:5
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ وَٱلضُّحَىٰ

and the night when it grows still and dark.
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee:
